This applies for V4 and V4.5 ONLY.

why does the icon in the bottom right corner light up?
when this happens, it means something is wrong. it normally means that you have no hearts or you pet is crying. if it visibly shows your pet crying, go to the icon on the bottom left corner and go to praise. if it is light up and it looks like nothing is wrong, then you decide whether he/she need praise or a time-out.


how do i go on Tamatown?
go to the upper right corner and go to PC. it will give you your password. you chose your username when your Tamagotchi was born. the password always changes after every time you go to PC, but the username stays the same even if you are in a 2nd or generation or up(3rd, 4th, 5th, etc).


can i decide what my Tama will look like?

can Tamagotchis have babies?
yes! if you connect with another Tama a certain amount of times and one is a boy and one a girl, they will eventually have a baby. also, if you have a V4.5 Tamagotchi, then when they turn six, a creature with a book will appear on the screen. she looks like
press any button. she brings another Tama with her. then something will pop up that says, "love?" this is when you decide whether you want a baby for your tama or not. if you do, hit yes, and the lights will go out and there will be fireworks and then a baby will appear on the screen and under it will be its gender. if that doesnt work, the white babies are girls and the black is a boy. the parents do leave...the mom leaves after 3 days, and the dad leaves after 2. Sometimes they leave earlier.

What is a "secret code?"
A secret code is a code that unlocks a shop item. you may get the item for free, or you may have to pay for it. after 5 shop codes entered, you will have to pay for the 6th. There are codes on the code page of this site.

How do i punch in a secret code?
Easy. press the first button until the shopkeeper's face is shocked and he's crying. then punch in the code using buttons "A," "B," and "C."
